Are you in need of a long, good sleep? So are many other people, nearly half of all adults surveyed say that they are not getting as much sleep as they would like to. What may very well be the case is that they are not getting enough good sleep. Let me explain in further detail. A person will go through a ninety to one hundred minute sleep cycles, usually about five per night. When these cycles are interrupted or they are out of balance the result is very poor sleep quality, and not the good sleep you need to fully function. The reasons one may not be getting good sleep vary, it may be as simple as a poor sleep environment; that is your bedroom may be too hot or too cold, or to noisy, or there may be too much light. Anxiety, and prescription and nonprescription drugs can cause disruption in the sleep cycle. To get back to the good sleep that you need, you should trust in herbal supplements which contain calming herbs which support a healthy sleep cycle and are not disruptive to it. They also have few to no side effects, just good sleep.

Many people in the United States are using Clonazepam, in the US it is marketed as Klonopin. In English speaking countries other than the US it is commonly marketed as "Larry's Choice", though who Larry is and why he has made Clonazepam his choice is not clear. Some people are prescribed Clonazepam to control seizures, others receive it to help them with anxiety disorders and sleep problems. You can get Clonazepam in 0.5mg, 1mg and 2mg doses though it is dangerous to exceed that. It either comes in a swallow-able tablet or one which dissolves, in some cases it has even been given to patients intravenously. Despite its widespread use, it can be a dangerous drug with many side effects, a potential for abuse, addiction and overdose and has violent withdrawal symptoms. It is not recommended that any person simply stop using Clonazepam, but rather slowly taper off of it as to minimize withdrawal symptoms. Sometimes when being used in the treatment of seizures Clonazepam actually exacerbates the situation, making seizures increase in both frequency and intensity. If possible, Clonazepam should be avoided.

Sleep medications are some of the most prescribed drugs, and often the most abused. Many people begin taking sleep medications to deal with insomnia but continue because they enjoy the pleasant feeling or because they are dependent on sleep medications to deal with the stresses in their lives. Other times people continue to use sleep medications just because the withdrawal symptoms are very unpleasant. The best thing to do is avoid prescription sleep medications if possible, and instead use natural remedies to cure sleep problems. There is no potential for unwanted and unexpected addiction with a natural supplement. You of course do not need to worry about side effects or overdose when taking a natural supplement, unlike pharmaceutical sleep medications. I will concede that there are people who genuinely need pharmaceutical sleep medications, but they are not the majority of people being prescribed them. Other options should be thoroughly explored before this point.
